eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S Review

eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S is our editors pick as the best alternative to Roomba, it is sold at nearly a quarter of Roomba iRobot i7+’s price, while still operating as one of the best in business.

We tested its performance and battery life on both hard floors and short-pile rugs, and it worked perfectly getting rid of small to medium sized debris without a problem.

On those floor types, the battery ran for 98 minutes on the regular performance level, while it only worked for half of that at the highest performance for only 49 minutes.

Having multiple large rooms may seem a problem since 49 minutes on high performance is decent at best, but when tested on 3 small rooms and a single full charge, eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S delivered big time.

One of the best signs of perfection we noticed is how it produces little noise when it’s vacuuming around the room, we tested the noise level on its highest performance settings and it didn’t exceed 55 db.

Ecovacs Deebot 500 Review

Ecovacs Deebot 500 is one of the easiest to control and use Roomba alternatives on the market, according to our testing.

Once we unboxed the Ecovacs Deebot 500, it took less than 5 minutes to get it operating.

Moreover, connecting it to 2.4Gz Wi-Fi was simple and using its app makes the scheduling and other orders much easier too.

We tested it on short-pile rugs and it worked perfectly, and had a better performance on hardwood floors too.

No problems happened while we tested it on normal power level, and it worked to nearly 100 minutes, but after fully recharging it for 2 hours and testing it again on high performance level, it only worked for 20 minutes, contrary to the user’s manual 50 minutes on highest performance.

We connected it to google assistant and Alexa, and both showed no issues at all, proving the Ecovacs Deebot 500’s compatibility with smart systems.

ILIFE V3s Pro Review

To be honest, before testing the ILIFE V3s Pro, its cheap price gave the wrong idea on how well this robot vacuum really is.

We thought we’d never find anything special while testing it, but it was far from that.

We started testing by fully charging it, then left it in a large sized room, and its infrared sensors navigated the robot vacuum pretty well, covering nearly every angle of the room.

However, it’s advertised that ILIFE V3s Pro will run for nearly 2 hours, but at the 90 minutes mark it stopped vacuuming and returned to its base for a recharge.

Additionally, we enjoyed how little noise it produces while operating, as while testing the noise levels, it never exceeded the 56 dB mark.

At $105, it’s more than just a robot vacuum, it’s the best choice when it comes to affordable best Roomba alternatives.

4. bObSweep PetHair Plus

bObSweep PetHair Plus

Product Specifications

Suction Power: Ferocious 4x boosted suction power compared to previous model

Battery Up Time: 60 minutes

Dustbin Capacity: 1.1L

Price: $280

Noise Level: 85 dB

bObSweep PetHair Plus Review

bObSweep robot vacuums have been compared heavily versus Roomba iRobot vacuums, and for a good reason.

That’s why we tested how good its suction power is, and it was pretty good against most debris types, but it was mostly effective against pet fur.

Unfortunately, it’s not supported by any mobile app, and we had to use the remote control to put a 7-day cleaning schedule, which the vacuum carried out on time.

One more thing about the bObSweep that may have surprised us while testing, it’s the fact that the mop and sweeper are not as effective as they were advertised, and thus we only found the vacuuming powerful, while the rest of the cleaning tasks weren’t that effective against simple dirt.

However, we were amazed by the advanced HEPA filter installed in the robot vacuum, it worked pretty well against pet fur while testing it, and not a single particle was found in that area it vacuumed afterward.

It’s not as economical as the other vacuums on this list of best Roomba alternatives, but it’s advanced and equipped with a HEPA filter, while enjoying a decent power time and a larger dustbin size than the rest of the other competitors, especially the Roomba.
