Over the Door Ironing Board Reviews

Our CleanerAdvisor experts have gathered several Over the Door Ironing Board Reviews from different online markets and here are what people think about it. Charly Olivia, Lyndsey, Gina Santamaria and Rosebud are some of the users who wrote their real experiences of owning Over the Door Ironing Board.

Charly Olivia: This arrived in two days with free shipping, as promised, and fits our over-the-door ironing board almost perfectly. I had little trouble getting it on, and didn’t need any help. (I have a standard 42″ X 14″ over-the-door board.) Some have complained that the pad isn’t very thick, and I guess it isn’t, but it seems adequate, and a similar thickness to our old cover (toward the back part of the old cover, where the foam padding hadn’t collapsed as much from age & usage.) It is reasonably priced, attractive, fits fine, and goes with our decor, so I have no cause for complaint. It is a little wrinkled from being rolled up in the packaging, but I’m sure the wrinkles can be ironed out with my new iron!

Lyndsey:

– sits well behind a door
– does not bang when closing the door (gently)
– the end is tapered for collars and cuffs on shirts.
– I would recommend this item.

Gina Santamaria: I’ve been using this board for several years now, and I still love it. I have no space to store it, so the over-the-door is perfect for me. Still going strong. The cover is a bit thin, so I did purchase and extra padded cover and placed it on top of the one that came with the board. This was a perfect solution for me, and inexpensive.

Rosebud: I bought this for my 93 year old mother who still likes to iron. She can’t get to the basement anymore and this over the door board allows her to iron in the spare bedroom. It doesn’t required the space needed for a large board and it is much easier to set up and take down. It has been installed on the closet door and she is pleased with her new ironing area.
It is made with a sturdy metal frame. It latches in place when down and there is a release arm to allow it to fold up and lock in place. There are feet on the bottom edge to give support against the door.
